Stacy T. Young

Stacy T. Young, the son of Michelle and Stacy C. Young Sr., is an energetic and ambitious professional, born and raised in Gainesville, Georgia. A proud graduate of Gainesville High School and a scholar of the Boys and Girls Club of Hall County, Stacy went on to pursue higher education at the University of North Georgia. There, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, with a minor in Human Services Delivery Administration.

During his time at UNG, Stacy was actively involved in the Black Student Union and Multicultural Student Affairs. He also served as a campus ambassador, taught swim lessons as a water safety instructor, and worked in customer service at Publix Super Markets. Throughout his academic and extracurricular activities, Stacy remained an active member of St. John Baptist Church, where he sang in the choir and volunteered with the youth department. These experiences laid a strong foundation for his leadership, community engagement, and commitment to service.

After completing his bachelor's degree, Stacy earned a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Brenau University, all while concluding an 11-year tenure at Publix. He then advanced his career at Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS), where he held various leadership roles over nine and a half years. Stacy's leadership experience at NGHS set the stage for his current role as Senior Electrophysiology (EP) Manager at Piedmont Healthcare, where he oversees critical operations in a field that directly impacts patient care and outcomes. Stacy's passion for healthcare is driven by his desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Stacy is also deeply committed to his community. He serves as the youngest elected school board member for Gainesville City Schools and sits on the board of the CATALYSTS Foundation. The CATALYSTS Foundation awards social impact-based scholarships and grants to college students and minority-led or minority-serving nonprofits for their leadership, service, and commitment to being positive disruptors in their communities. Additionally, the Foundation provides pro bono consulting services to local underinvested nonprofits, helping them address key strategic challenges and opportunities.

Stacy is engaged to his partner of four years, Raneill, and is a proud father of two children—one attending UNG and another attending Gainesville High School. In his free time, Stacy enjoys traveling, spending quality time with his family and friends, and playing with his dogs, Onyx and Bentley. As he continues his professional journey, Stacy remains dedicated to making a lasting impact both in his career and in his community.
