Alumni Association Scholarships

Scholarships are available from the UNG Alumni Association for the children and grandchildren of active members of the UNG Alumni Association.

THE ALUMNI MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP.

DOT STROTHER ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP:

  • Demonstrates citizenship and leadership potential

  • Pursuing a degree from UNG

  • Has a High School B average and 1000 SAT – or – one year of college work with 2.5 GPA

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP:

  • Must be the Legacy of a current member of the UNG Alumni Association.

    • Children

    • Grandchildren

  • Pursuing a degree from UNG

  • Has a 2.5 GPA

Scholarship applications are accepted Sept. 1 - Dec. 31, for the upcoming Fall Semester.

To apply for the Alumni Association Scholarships:

  1. Students must submit a scholarship application. A student log-in is required.

  2. Visit https://scholarships.ung.edu/

  3. Click “log in” in the upper right corner and log in with their UNG credentials.

  4. There are two yes/no screening questions that students will be prompted to answer first, then, the current student scholarship application will automatically appear to fill out.

  5. Once this is complete, the student can navigate to the “Alumni Scholarship Application” on the left-hand menu and fill in their answers.

Note: There is no “submit” button at the end of the application. A green check mark next to each section of the application on the left-hand menu indicates that the student’s answers have been saved and submitted.
