The University of North Georgia Foundation invites you to join them on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 8 PM EST at Carnegie Hall for the Crown Mountain Trio.
Faculty and instructors at UNG, the Trio is made up of Miya Suen, piano, Yeasol Kang, violin, and Dr. Philip Snyder, cello. The trio formed in December of 2023, and recently won an international music competition, resulting in a performance in Carnegie this past March.
They are returning to perform a full concert at Carnegie in October and are excited to present music with a wide variety of styles. Their concert will include the lush Romanticism of the late 19th century with Anton Arensky’s Piano trio in D minor, an eccentric and jazzy masterpiece by Nikolai Kapustin written in the late 20th century, and a world premiere of a work composed specifically for the Crown Mountain Trio by composer Xing Yu. The Trio is thankful for the generous support from UNG!
