Ariana Chedgy

Ariana moved from New Jersey to Georgia at the age of 12, which she cites as a huge culture shock and presented many challenges. Learning to navigate a new state, new school, new people and new way of life helped to influence her ability to build relationships with people from all backgrounds. This was further cultivated during her time at UNG. At UNG, Ariana was a member of the corps of cadets, was on the executive board of Sigma Kappa, and a member of the inaugural women’s golf team in 2010. Many of the relationships and connections made during her time as a Saint/Nighthawk has allowed her to build a successful team and business known for providing a quality experience and high level of customer service. 

Ariana started her own company, Make Me Up in 2014, 3 years after graduating from UNG. Make Me Up is one of the leading On-site Hair + Makeup companies in the southwest, averaging over 400 weddings a year. She started Make Me Up as a team of one, but now leads a team of over 30 stylists and administrators. Make Me Up has won the Wedding Wire Couples Choice Award consecutively since 2014; this award recognizes local wedding professionals who demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness, and professionalism. In 2023 + 2024, Make Me Up was nominated for a Modern Luxury Diamond Award for our work creating the best bridal hair. Through positive relationships and a reputation built while attending UNG, many of the brides have been fellow North Georgia graduates, furthering an alumni-community bond. She has also worked with celebrities, the Atlanta Falcons, had work featured on BravoTV, Netflix, + Peacock, MRS Georgia pageant and Second Wind Dreams.
