Amberly Ellis
Amberly Ellis graduated from the University of North Georgia in 2014 with her bachelor’s degree majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology. She continued her education at UNG to pursue a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, graduating in 2017. After graduation, she worked in a group practice setting where she quickly found her niche and calling to support children, adolescents, and teens. She spent three years working to gain her Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credentialing in 2020 to better equip herself to serve and support this population. In the beginning of 2021, in the thick of the COVID-19 pandemic, she found herself being pulled to open a group practice in her hometown of Braselton, Georgia to provide mental health support to children and their families who were greatly struggling. Amberly says that it has truly been a blessing and honor getting to witness the healing that is occurring in her practice and is excited to see what is to come!
She is married to her best friend and husband, Chance and resides in Braselton with our two dogs, Aibileen and Ellie. In her free time, you can find her in the gym, on a long walk, or trying out a new local coffee shop.
