Dr. Keylee Brown
Dr. Keylee Brown is from Dahlonega, Georgia, and began her academic journey at the University of North Georgia from 2005 to 2009, where she met her husband, MAJ Dan Brown and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology during this period. She earned a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry in 2015. She further honed her skills with a residency in ocular disease through Southern College of Optometry, at the Woolfson Eye Institute in Atlanta.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Brown is an active member of the American Optometric Association and serves on the Georgia Optometric Association Board of Trustees. Her dedication has driven key legislative initiatives supporting ocular disease management through scope expansion. In 2020, she was honored with the Georgia Young Optometrist of the Year award.
In 2021, Dr. Keylee embarked on a new chapter in her career opening Key Optique in Gainesville, Georgia to showcase her passion for providing top-notch eye care to her community. Driven by a vision of personalized patient care and a commitment to excellence while operating at the cutting edge of optometry, her practice continues to grow as she integrates advanced treatments for ocular health and dry eyes.
In her personal life, Dr. Keylee cherishes moments with her husband, Dan, and their two children, Porter (6) and Perry (3). She loves being in the great outdoors or anywhere with a good view, enjoys traveling, and maintains an active lifestyle enjoying HIIT workouts on her Peloton.
